Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Welcome to Uganda! Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be greeted with warm smilles by our experienced tour guide who will transfer you to your comfortable allocated rooms designed designed to blend harmoniously with the natural surroundings while providing modern amenities for your comfort. Enjoy a delicious lunch at the lodge restaurant,offering both local and international cuisine.The lodge's traditional African architecture and stunning views of the surrounding will immediately immerse you in the safari experience for check-in. Take some time to relax and acclimatize to the surroundings.In the evening, you will meet your guide who will brief you about your itinerary and answer any questions you may have and later have dinner.
Day 2: Entebbe to Lake Mburo National Park
Wake up early to the symphony of chirping birds and the gentle rustling of the wind as it sweeps across the surrounding and grab a hearty breakfast at the hotel.After breakfast, we will embark on a scenic drive to Lake Mburo National Park.It is known forits variety of wildlife including zebras and buffaloes. Upon arrival, check-in to your lodge and enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, take a game drive through the park to spot wildlife such as zebras, impalas, buffalos, and various bird species.Later in the evening,before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay you will get a chance to enjoy a relaxing boat cruise on the lake where you can spot hippos and crocodiles.
Day 3: Game Drives and Boat Safari.
You will start your day with an early morning game drive to catch the animals at their most active. Explore the park's diverse landscapes and encounter more wildlife. Afterward, return to the lodge for breakfast and some relaxation. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari on Lake Mburo for a chance to see hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of water birds.
Day 4: Lake Mburo National Park to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After breakfast, we will depart Lake Mburo National Park and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. This scenic journey takes you through beautiful landscapes, passing villages and local markets along the way. Arrive at your lodge in the afternoon and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Today is the highlight of your tour - gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest! After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before embarking on the trek. Trekking through the dense forest can be challenging but the reward of encountering these gentle giants is truly unforgettable. Spend an hour observing and photographing the gorillas before returning to the lodge.
Day 6: Bwindi to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Leave Bwindi behind and continue your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Enjoy the scenic drive through the Ishasha sector, famous for its tree-climbing lions. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and later embark on an evening game drive to spot elephants, lions, buffalos, and more.
Day 7: Game Drives and Boat Cruise
Start your day with an early morning game drive in search of wildlife. Queen Elizabeth National Park is home to a wide variety of animals and bird species, providing ample opportunities for sightings. Afterward, enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, where you can observe hippos, crocodiles, and various water birds. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 8: Queen Elizabeth National Park to Kibale Forest
Today, we will drive to Kibale Forest, known for its population of chimpanzees. Upon arrival, check-in to your lodge and enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a guided nature walk in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, where you can spot a variety of bird species and monkeys.
Day 9: Chimpanzee Trekking and Nature Walk.
Wake up early and enjoy a hearty breakfast at the hotel.After breakfast you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing before starting your chimpanzee trekking adventure. Explore the forest in search of these playful primates and learn about their behavior and conservation efforts. In the afternoon, enjoy a nature walk in the forest to discover more of its diverse flora and fauna.
Day 10: Kibale Forest to Entebbe.
After breakfast, it's time to bid farewell to Kibale Forest and drive back to Entebbe. Arrive in the afternoon and transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight.As you say goodbye to uganda,you will take with you memories of an unfortabble safari and wildlife adventure in the pearl of Africa.
