Karibu Kenya JKIA is one of our popular tour packages which begins from JKIA/Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) in Nairobi and proceed to various destinations within and outside the great country of Kenya. Karibu Kenya is itself a Swahili phrase which means Welcome to Kenya, a land of breathtaking landscapes, vibrant culture and unforgettable experiences.

This tour begins with a Nairobi city arrival, with a day tour of the great city of Nairobi, proceed to Amboseli National Park, Ol Pejeta , Samburu National Reserve, Lake Nakuru National Park, Lake Naivasha, and finally to Masai Mara National Reserve.

Day 1: Nairobi Arrival

Your tour will begin immediately you land at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. You will land here through your airline which you booked from your country. We do not include the air-ticket in this tour. Therefore, you need to book in your country. The best is a two-way air-ticket for proper planning to and from your Karibu Kenya safari.

Rest assured that you will be met at the airport by one of our friendly tour guided. We normally have the tour vehicle labeled with a banner on top written "Your names which you provided to us and the words "Karibu Kenya JIKIA". From here, you will be briefed about the safari, handed over the safari program to cross-check everything and be transferred to your hotel. Whether you want to rest or enjoy the city of Nairobi sight-seeing depends on your choice, time of your arrival and how tired you may be. You can choose to rest in the hotel ready for the actual Kenya tour.

Day 2: Nairobi City Tour

The first thing when you wake up and freshen-up at your Nairobi-based hotel is to take breakfast of your choice as on menu. After that, you will be transferred to Nairobi National Museum, then later to Karen Blixen Museum, and the Giraffe Centre. These major destinations within Nairobi city will ensure you experience the cultural Kenyan heritage. Of importance here is that you participate and experience the Kenyan local markets and local cuisine. Later in the evening, you will be transferred back to your hotel where you will take dinner and rest for the day. Within the hotel, there are refreshment drinks and refreshing night-life which you chose to take part in. All is optional. These refreshments and refreshing nigh-life entertainments will make you feel "Karibu Kenya", yaani, "Umekaribishwa Kenya" or meaning "You are welcome Kenya".

Day 3: Amboseli National Park

Day 3 of our 11-Day Karibu Kenya from JKIA safari involves a transfer to Amboseli National Park. For this, we will have to wake up early because by 5 TO 6 AM, we should be in the safari land cruiser. This is because we require around 3 hr 27 min (211.2 km) via route A104 or 3 hr 53 min (218.8 km) via route A104 and C103 to travel from Nairobi city to Amboseli National Park. The choice of the route will be determined by weather and traffic jams because we will travel on road to Amboseli National Park. Air travel from Nairobi city to Amboseli is also an option. However, travelers who want to enjoy the scenery between the Kenyan capital and the park are advised to take the comfortable road trip.

By 10 am, we will be in the Park where we will enjoy game drive in the great Amboseli National park with stunning views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. You expect to cite animals such as elephants, lions, cheetahs, and a variety of bird species inside Amboseli.

Day 4: Ol Pejeta Conservancy

On this day, continue your journey to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, a private wildlife reserve renowned for its conservation efforts.You will embark on game drives to spot the "Big Five" and other wildlife species. Don't miss the opportunity to visit the endangered Northern White Rhinos at the conservancy. Take a game drive through the reserve and visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary. In the evening, enjoy a sundowner overlooking the picturesque plains of Ol Pejeta before retiring to your luxury tented camp.

Day 5: Samburu National reserve

Leave Ol Pejeta behind and head towards Samburu National Reserve which is located in the rugged northern region of kenya.It is Known for its unique wildlife species, including the Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, and Somali ostrich, the reserve offers a distinctive safari experience. Enjoy game drives and immerse yourself in the breathtaking landscapes of Samburu. Later, retire to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Lake Nakuru National Park

Wake up early,freshen up and grab a delicious breakfat at the hotel.After breakfast you will depart for Lake Nakuru National Park it is famous for its vibrant pink flamingos and endangered black rhino sanctuary. Explore the park on game drives and discover its diverse wildlife, including buffalos, zebras, and Rothschild's giraffes. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the scenic surroundings of the park. In the evening, transfer to your lodge for an a delicious dinner overlooking the lake and relax for the next journey.

Day 7: Lake Naivasha

Wake up early and have breakfast at the lodge.Today you will embark on a scenic drive to Lake Naivasha, a serene freshwater lake surrounded by lush vegetation. Explore the lake on a boat safari, spotting hippos and a wide variety of birdlife. Visit Crescent Island, a private sanctuary where you can walk alongside zebras, giraffes, and other wildlife.Take a guided walk through the nearby Hell's gate national park for a chance to see wildlife up close.Afterward, head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8-10: Masai Mara National Reserve

The next three days will be dedicated to exploring the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve so keep your cameras ready for the close encounters. Enjoy thrilling game drives in one of Africa's most iconic safari destinations, renowned for its high concentration of wildlife. ------Witness the annual wildebeest migration (subject to timing) and encounter predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Immerse yourself in the Maasai culture by visiting a traditional village. Each evening, return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 11: Departure

Wake up early, freshen up and grab a special breakfast for you. After breakfast you will have the option for final game drive before bidding farewell to the Masai Mara and drive back to Nairobi. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some time for last-minute shopping or additional city sightseeing.
