Welcome to this 6 day amazing Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli safari.

Embark on a spectacular 6-day Kenyan safari adventure showcasing the country's most iconic wildlife and breathtaking national parks.

Day 1: Nairobi.

Arrive in Nairobi, Kenya’s vibrant capital city situated in the scenic Great Rift Valley. Our representative will greet you at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and assist with your hotel transfer to your accommodations located in the city center. Spend the rest of Day 1 relaxing from your international flight, refreshing yourself with a warm shower, and getting acquainted with your surroundings.

In the evening, venture out on foot to sample traditional dishes like ugali, sukuma wiki, and nyama choma at a nearby local restaurant. Afterwards, check out Nairobi’s pulsing nightlife scene by taking an Uber to hit the various hotspots around town. Be sure to try the local Tusker beer as you bar hop along trendy spots like Simmers, Mercury Lounge, and Brew Bistro & Lounge to experience Nairobi's renowned nightlife.

Day 2: Masai Mara National Reserve.

After breakfast, depart Nairobi on a spectacular drive to Masai Mara National Reserve. Stop along the way at viewpoints like the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint to photograph the vast landscape. Arriving at Masai Mara, you’ll check into your eco-friendly lodge situated right inside the reserve. Spend the afternoon on your first exhilarating game drive watching lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos and more roam across the boundless grasslands. Hopefully you’ll spot some or all of the iconic Big Five animals. In the early evening, continue your drive and watch in awe as the setting sun casts a brilliant orange glow over the splendid wilderness. Return to your accommodation for dinner and a good night’s rest.

Day 3: Masai Mara National Reserve.

Wake before sunrise today for a dawn game drive when predators are most active on the hunt. Watch lions, cheetahs and hyenas stealthily moving through the bush, intent on catching their next meal. Return to your lodge for a fortifying breakfast out on the veranda. Spend the midday hours relaxing while enjoying views over the Mara River.

In the late afternoon, visit a traditional Maasai village to learn about this semi-nomadic tribe’s customs and culture. Or, opt for a unique hot air balloon safari* over the epic wilderness (at extra cost). As the sun sinks below the horizon, make one last evening game drive in Masai Mara before returning to your lodge for a delicious dinner.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park.

Depart from Masai Mara after breakfast, taking in panoramic vistas of Kenya’s diverse landscapes along your drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Have your camera ready to capture rolling green hills and wide-open valleys, making periodic photo stops to photograph the natural beauty and take in the fresh air. Along the way, you may spot Maasai herders grazing their cattle or travelers on safari. Arrive at Lake Nakuru in time for a hearty lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive around the shores of this picturesque lake.

Famous for its pink-hued flamingos that line the shores in the thousands and abundant birdlife like pelicans and fish eagles, Lake Nakuru also hosts white and black rhinos, commonly seen grazing grasslands, as well as waterbucks, lions, leopards and more. After your exhilarating drive spotting wildlife, check into your nature-surrounded lodge to relax. Enjoy views of the lake during dinner on your lodge’s outdoor terrace before retiring to your cozy room. Wake up refreshed and ready for the next leg of your safari adventure.

Day 5: Amboseli National Park.

Rise early for the scenic drive to Amboseli National Park, known for its epic views of Mount Kilimanjaro. The highest free-standing mountain in the world at 19,341 feet, Kilimanjaro towers over Amboseli’s vast grassy plains. Along the way, admire the changing landscapes and stop to photograph zebras and wildebeests grazing in the bush. Enjoy a hearty lunch at your eco-friendly Amboseli lodge before an afternoon observing huge herds of elephants with a backdrop of the majestic, snow-capped peak.

Hundreds of buffalos and giraffes also dot the plains while over 400 bird species fill the skies. Sit down to a mouthwatering dinner featuring flavors of Africa as the setting sun casts brilliant orange and pink hues over Kilimanjaro's imposing summit. Retire to your cozy room, relax on your private veranda, and fall asleep to gentle sounds of the nighttime African bush.

Day 6: Nairobi Departure.

Enjoy a final breakfast at your lodge before bidding farewell to Kenya's breathtaking national parks and diverse wildlife. Make the scenic journey back to Nairobi for your international departure from Jomo Kenyatta Airport. Along the way, reminisce about your incredible safari adventures spotting the Big Five and marveling at iconic landscapes. Or extend your stay if you wish to see more of Nairobi's attractions like the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust where you can meet rescued baby elephants, Nairobi National Park hosting lions, leopards and rhinos just minutes from the capital city, and the insightful National Museum exhibiting cultural artifacts and fossils tracing Kenya's rich history.
