Day 1: Arrival in Kampala
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, our representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in Kampala. Take the rest of the day to relax and prepare for the exciting days ahead.
Day 2: Kampala to Bwindi National Park
After breakfast, we will start our journey to Bwindi National Park, home to nearly half of the world's mountain gorilla population. Enjoy the scenic drive through the beautiful landscapes of western Uganda. Arrive in Bwindi in the evening and check into your lodge for overnight stay.
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi National Park
Today is the highlight of your safari - gorilla trekking in Bwindi National Park. After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing about the dos and don'ts during the trek. With the help of experienced guides, embark on a thrilling trek through the dense forest to find a gorilla family. Spend an hour observing these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. After the trek, return to your lodge for a well-deserved rest.
Day 4: Bwindi National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, depart Bwindi and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, known for its diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park, where you may spot elephants, lions, buffaloes, and various antelope species. In the evening, check into your lodge for overnight stay.
Day 5: Game Drive and Boat Safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park
Start the day with an early morning game drive to catch a glimpse of the park's early risers. Look out for predators and other wildlife as they roam freely in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, take a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway that connects Lake Edward and Lake George. This boat safari offers an opportunity to see hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park to Kampala
After breakfast, depart Queen Elizabeth National Park and drive back to Kampala. Along the way, enjoy the scenic views of the countryside and stop at some local markets or craft shops for souvenirs. Arrive in Kampala in the afternoon and transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
