Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Welcome to Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania's incredible wildlife reserves! Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative who will transfer you to your accommodation in Arusha. Take some time to relax and prepare for the exciting days ahead.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, we will drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its iconic baobab trees and large elephant herds. Enjoy a thrilling game drive, spotting various wildlife species such as lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and more. In the evening, we will return to our lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park
Today, we head to the world-famous Serengeti National Park. En route, we will pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, offering stunning views of the Ngorongoro Highlands. Once we reach the Serengeti, embark on a game drive through the vast plains, witnessing the incredible wildebeest migration (seasonal) and encountering various other wildlife species. Spend the night at a lodge or camp in the heart of the Serengeti.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Highlands and Crater
Leave the Serengeti behind and drive to the Ngorongoro Highlands, where you can admire the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for a game drive in this unique ecosystem. Encounter a wide range of wildlife, including the elusive black rhino. Later, head to your accommodation on the crater rim for a relaxing evening and overnight stay.
Day 5: Lake Eyasi Cultural Experience
Today, we visit the fascinating Lake Eyasi, home to the indigenous Hadzabe and Datoga tribes. Immerse yourself in their traditional way of life, join a hunting expedition with the Hadzabe, learn about their hunter-gatherer techniques, and interact with the Datoga community. Experience their cultural dances and rituals before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, we head to Lake Manyara National Park. Explore the diverse habitats of this park, which include dense forests, open grasslands, and the picturesque lake. Spot tree-climbing lions, elephants, hippos, and an abundance of birdlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the beautiful scenery before continuing your game drive. In the evening, we will return to Arusha for overnight stay.
Day 7: Departure
Today marks the end of your Karibu Safari adventure. After breakfast, our representative will transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight. Take with you unforgettable memories of Tanzania's incredible wildlife and natural wonders.
