Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative. They will transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe for an overnight stay. Take some time to relax and prepare for the exciting adventure ahead.
Day 2: Entebbe to Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, we will start our journey towards Lake Mburo National Park. The park is known for its rich biodiversity and is home to various species of wildlife including zebras, impalas, buffaloes, and many others. Upon arrival, you will go for an afternoon game drive to explore the park's wildlife. In the evening, retire to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Lake Mburo National Park
Start your day with an early morning game drive to catch a glimpse of the park's early risers. You may spot lions, giraffes, leopards, and a variety of bird species. After the game drive, return to your lodge for breakfast and some relaxation. In the afternoon, embark on a boat safari on Lake Mburo, where you can spot hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species. Enjoy the beautiful scenery before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Lake Mburo National Park to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Today, we will head towards Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to the endangered mountain gorillas. The journey will take you through scenic landscapes and local villages, providing a glimpse into the local culture. Arrive at your lodge in Bwindi in the evening, where you will have dinner and spend the night.
Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Prepare yourself for an unforgettable experience - gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest! After an early morning briefing, you will venture into the forest in search of these magnificent creatures. The trek can be challenging, but the reward of seeing gorillas in their natural habitat is worth every effort. Spend an hour observing and photographing the gorillas before returning to your lodge for a well-deserved rest.
Day 6: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to Entebbe
After breakfast, bid farewell to Bwindi and start your journey back to Entebbe. Enjoy the scenic drive and make stops along the way to stretch your legs and take in the beautiful landscapes. Arrive in Entebbe in the evening and check into your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7: Departure from Entebbe
Sadly, it is time to say goodbye to the beautiful country of Uganda. After breakfast, our representative will transfer you to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight. Take with you cherished memories of the gorillas and wildlife encounters you experienced during your 7-day Uganda Gorillas & Game Budget Safari.
