Throughout this safari, you will embark on different journeys and explore parks like Serengeti National Park known for the large migration of wildebeests, Tarangire National Park, lake Manyara National Park, Ngorongoro, and Lake Natron. Get ready for the adventure of a lifetime as we discover the beauty and wonders of Tanzania's northern parks. Keep your cameras ready to capture beautiful sceneries and wildlife.
Day 1: Arrival in Moshi.
Upon your arrival in Moshi, you will be greeted by our representative and they will transfer you to check-in into your allocated accommodation rooms designed to provide unlimited comfort. Take some time to relax and acclimatize to your new surroundings. In the evening, you will have a pre-safari briefing to go over the details of your upcoming adventure at the campfire.
Day 2: Arusha Exploration.
Wake up early to the beautiful sunrise and grab some breakfast. After breakfast, you will depart for Arusha, a vibrant city located at the foothills of Mount Meru. Explore the local markets and immerse yourself in the culture. Visit the Arusha National Natural History Museum and gain insights into Tanzania's rich history. In the afternoon, you will return to Moshi for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Tarangire National Park.
After breakfast, you will drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its diverse wildlife and iconic baobab trees. You will embark on a game drive and spot elephants, lions, zebras, leopards, gazelles, and buffalos. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the sights and sounds of the African bush before continuing your game drive in search of lions, leopards, and other wildlife. In the evening, you will transfer to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater.
Today, you will journey to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. Descend into the crater and marvel at its unique ecosystem, which supports a wide variety of wildlife including the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool and witness nature's wonders up close. As the sun sets you will drive back to your lodge located at the rim of the crater for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Serengeti National Park.
After a delicious breakfast, you will drive to the world-famous Serengeti National Park. It is known for known for its sweeping plains and annual wildebeest migration. As you drive through the park, keep your camera ready to capture the iconic wildlife and breathtaking scenery. Embark on a game drive and witness the breathtaking landscapes and abundant wildlife, including the annual wildebeest migration if you visit during the migration season. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the Serengeti before continuing your exploration. In the evening, you will transfer to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 6: Lake Natron.
Today, you will venture to Lake Natron, a stunning alkaline lake located in the Rift Valley. Take a guided walk along the lake's shores and observe the vibrant flamingos that gather in large numbers. Enjoy the unique landscapes and the serenity of the area. In the afternoon, you will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 7: Lake Manyara National Park.
After a hearty breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its diverse bird species and tree-climbing lions. Embark on a game drive and witness the park's unique ecosystems, including the dense forests and the alkaline lake. Enjoy a picnic lunch as you enjoy the beautiful surroundings in the park before continuing your exploration. In the evening, you will transfer to your lodge for a farewell dinner and later assemble at the campfire with your fellow friends and reflect on the incredible moments that you have had throughout the journey.
Day 8: Return to Moshi.
On the final day of your Northern Parks discovery, you will wake up early and prepare to bid farewell to Tanzania as you transfer back to Moshi for your departure flight.
