Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. Take some time to relax and acclimate to the local environment.
Day 2: Arusha - Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, known for its diverse wildlife and beautiful landscapes. Enjoy a game drive through the park, spotting elephants, giraffes, zebras, and various bird species. In the evening, head to your lodge inside the park for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park - Serengeti National Park
Leaving Lake Manyara behind, embark on a scenic drive to Serengeti National Park. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge and spend the afternoon exploring the vast plains of the Serengeti, home to the famous wildebeest migration. Keep an eye out for lions, cheetahs, and other predators. Dinner and overnight stay at a lodge within the park.
Day 4: Full Day Serengeti National Park
Spend the entire day in Serengeti National Park, going on game drives to witness the incredible wildlife and stunning landscapes. Marvel at the abundant wildlife, including elephants, buffalos, zebras, and hippos. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the park before continuing your exploration. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Highlands
After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Highlands, a region of volcanic landscapes and breathtaking views. Visit a traditional Maasai village to learn about their culture and way of life. In the afternoon, arrive at your lodge located on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, enjoying panoramic views. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Exploration
Embark on a full-day exploration of the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Descend into the crater and marvel at the abundant wildlife, including lions, elephants, rhinos, and flamingos. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst this natural wonder. In the late afternoon, ascend back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7: Ngorongoro Highlands - Lake Eyasi
Leave the Ngorongoro Highlands and drive to Lake Eyasi, a remote and secluded destination. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge and spend the afternoon immersing yourself in the local culture. Interact with the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes, known for their ancient hunting and gathering traditions. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 8: Lake Eyasi - Arusha
Start the day with an early morning hunting experience with the Hadzabe tribe, where you can learn their ancient techniques. After breakfast, bid farewell to Lake Eyasi and drive back to Arusha. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 9: Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your Tanzania Highlight Lodge Safari. Take with you unforgettable memories of the diverse landscapes and incredible wildlife encountered during your journey.
